Cyber bullying is defined as aggressive, intentional acts carried out by groups or individuals using electronic forms of contact, repeatedly and over time against a victim who cannot easily defend themselves.

As with bullying itself, the key elements that carries across is the repeated nature of the act of intentional harassment or aggression.

Research shows that almost one in two young people experience some form of cyber bullying or online aggression.
